The Snowman Edition

Since the lack of snow is depressing at this moment. I thought i would put up some pics from when we actually had snow a couple of weeks ago. I didn't make a snowman myself, but my younger siblings made one and my neighbours did a bunch of them.

One Year Later

Can you belivie that it was a year ago today that i started this blog?
Time does really fly by. As i expected i blogged alot in the beginning, and i have not blogged as often latetly. But every now and then i post something (mostly random) ;).
I started this when the Team Msn era was just beginning, and i must say i was pretty addicted to it back then. Cause i was unemployed at the time and didn't have that much else to do at the time.

soo.. my tv died on monday :( but i bought a knew one :P i'm kinda addicted to my tv.
but most of you already know that :D

This weekend i visited the graveyard, like i do every year at all hallow's eve, to light candles at my grandparents grave. It's always cosy to go there this weekend.
This is my tradition, like many others in sweden. I'm not that fond of the hyped american Halloween that some people are adapting overhere. Fine, it might be fun to dress up and have a party, but the trick or treat business just annoys me.
But people are free at doing what they want. I know that trick or treat is tradition in some countries, but i hasn't been here in sweden, i guess that's why it annoys me a bit :P

Yay!

I have finnished my math course now, just gotta have a meeting with my teacher to get the grade. I was up at 9 am this morning, along with the rest of the 5 people that was sleeping here last night. There is alot of people in town for nordic rock that is this weekend. I was doing my math test from 11 am to 7 pm today, just took small breaks to eat. My brain and energy was kinda worn out after that. Now i just have to hope that it went well.

I love how it's kinda summertime now, and that it's light outside almost everytime.
I just went outside and took these pics:

It's 2 am and the sun is on it's way up.

And the birds have started to sing now. Maybe i should sleep in a while. But i'm nocturnal now, and have 3 weeks now that i'm free before i start to work. YAY!

One Month Later

I realize that it's a while since i wrore a blogpost, so here i go.
First of all i am super tired, cause i had to get up early cause i didn't want to be asleep since a guy was supposed to come and fix some things in our house. Well around 11 am 3 guys showed up up and it was all done during less then an hour. But i was up at 8.30 am, cause that's when they started at my neighbourghs house, and i don't know how long it would take.
I am nocturnal again, and just because i knew i had to get up early today, of course i couldn't fall asleep until after 5 am last night (this morning?).
Meh, so zombiemode could be expected today.

At the moment i'm taking math level c to compliment my application to university, gonna do it during 5 weeks, so it's fulltime studies, i'm on week 4 at the moment, and so tired of at the moment. And in this chapter i'm at i need a calculator that does graphs, and my calculator doesn't have that at all. Think i need to find one that i can borrow, cause i don't wanna buy a new one since the one i have is already kinda advance (minus the graph thingy). So not motivated at working on my math at the moment. So i blong instead. XD

Oh, this weekend Alannah Myles comes to Umeå, and the show is free! So gonna go and se her, would be totally stupid to pass this opportunity, when she is here and it's for free.
This weekend my friend is moving in with us as well, she is gonna stay for about a month until she can move into her new appartment.

Was very excited for ESC this year, but as soon as the voting started it just stopped being fun, you could see pretty early on who was gonna win. Oh, well at least there was some songs that i liked this year.

Not sure how to start this blogpost, just feel like i need to write something about how i'm feeling at the moment. I feel like my life is on pause at the moment. my motivation to do things are zero, except consuming loads of tv-shows and movies. they take me to another world for a while, and i think my sligt addiction to it has to do with that it was what i burried myself in when i feelt really bad a couple a years ago, so it is my confort zone.
i don't know if it's the pressure of figure out what to do for the rest of my life, like what do i wanna study or work with, and the economy/job situation these days are not the brightest. and that it has been some deaths on my stepmother side of the family haven't really helped either, i think that it could have trigger things that i kinda felt was on the way. i don't like to feel this way, but i'm not sure what to do about it at this moment, but i know that it's better to talk about it with people i care about rather then just keep it to myself, cause i have already done that one time in my life, and that was not a fun period of my life. ah well, think i'm gonna figure it all out evetually, but at the moment i'm just not feeling that well in general, but some days are better then others and talking to some people helps too get distracted for a while. and it's nice too have people that are there for you.


I laughed at a pineapple today. Not many people will get why i did that, but some of you might ;)

A Year Older

Well, i don't feel any older yet, maybe it will kick in tomorrow.

Magic Words

The power of words are endless in my opinion. Whether it's spoken, written or singed. Words can make you happy, sad, excited, bored, angry, mushy, crazy, nostalgic. But the same word can have different affect on you depending on which person that says the words to you, and what realtion you have to that person. I think it's a bit sad thought that you can't understand all words in the world and people cannot always communicate with each other because they speak different languages. Well sometimes people speak the same languages an still cannot communicate with each other, but i think that speaking the same languages makes it a bit easier at least. I'm feel very lucky to be fluent in at least two languages these days. I'm grateful that we have had english in school, cause otherwise i would have missed out to getting to know allot of really cool, nice and interesting people. It also makes it possible for me to express my self to a whole world that understands english, which i think is allot these days. With my swedish i wouldn't get that far internationally speaking. But language is a thing that you kinda forget when you don't use it. Like my french, the most of it is gone by now. Last time i had it in school was 6 years ago, and since i pretty much haven't used it since then it's mostly gone by now. Sometimes i'm thinking about picking it up again, but not sure what use i will have of it. A language i wanna learn thought is sign language, it seems interesting and kinda useful at times. But as i have understood it's not international, like there is swedish sign language, weird, would make more sense if it was the same everywhere. well well, i guess it's the same with all the other languages.

Well, that was my thoughts about words and languages.

I know for alot of people that makes no sense at all, but to those that are involved in the ae madness and was active during the epic week, will completely understand how happy these words make me.

So my plan to go to bed early didn't work out, and the SAG awards starts in like 20 mins, so i'm tempted to see that live instead of taping it, but i will se what i will do, maybe i'll get tired. haha

Okay, so today my friend went home again, and i thought i would freeze to death when i was walking her to the place were they was gonna pick her up. Soo cold and my poor dog thought it was cold too, she's like me in that case :P

Btw, i'm back at my obsession with wicked, well it never disappers, just don't listen to it all of the time, but now i am again. I heart Defying Gravity!

Saturday

Today i saw twilight, and i liked it. well, the newest of my celebrity crushes are kristen stewart. and a movie with kristen stewart involving vampires? that couldn't be bad? yeah, that what i thought. :D Saw into the wild the other day, she are also in that and she was singing in it. *melts* didn't know she could sing. I'm also superexcited about her playing joan jett in the movie about the runaways, can't wait ti see that movie, since i am a the runaways fan as well. *wanna see it NOW* but that's not possible :( well well, at least i got something to look forward too.

This post wont be long, cause i'm soon on my way to pick up my friend that are gonna spend the weekend here in town. Well today i tried sushi for the first time, we made it at home, and i thought i would like it more then i did. Some things just didn't taste that great, like wasabi.

Well well, this time i might be able to post before midnight so wednesday will actually be post on wednesday :P This has been a pretty slow day i think. And my throat hurts :( I don't wanna get sick, it's just a waste of time. Got a meeting in town tomorrow at 10 am, so i'm actually gonna try to sleep soon, so i get some hours of sleep at least. Gaaaah! Nocturnalness comes so much easier for me, but i'm gonna try at least. Well soon of to bed and watch an epsidoe of Ghost Squad, and drool a bit over Elanie Cassidy :P

Tuesday

Yes, i am planning to blog everyday of this week. Not sure how interesting it will be, but you will see a pic of me from everyday of the week at least. Actually i was planning to bed in bed at this moment, since i have been tired for a while which is kinda weird since i slept until 1 pm today.
Yep, that's me in pj's on the pic, i'm half ready for bed already and then i remembered that i was gonna blog :p Hmmm don't think i got much more to say tonight. Gonna go and watch The Orphanage until i fall asleep.

Monday

Mondays is not really the greatest day of the week mostly. Is there anyone out there that love mondays? Cause i don't mostly. Although this monday had some good things that made it better.
New season of This Just Out with Liz Feldman started, woho! Finally she is back again, and so was Shane, haha. So this is one good things that will make mondays a better day for sure.

I watched an old episode of WGN today, god i miss that vlog when it was at it's best.

Friends Without Borders

This week has been a eventful week in oogling land. And last night it all came to and end. I can't say that i was all that suprised cause the limit was being pushed allot lately, i'll admit that.

Right before of the end of the oogling thread EJ started a new one called friends without borders, but that didn't last for long, which was sad, but not that suprising either.



Anyway i went to bed and then i had to go back to the computer to save my posts from this thread cause i wanted to keep what i had written and post it here. And i'm glad i did, cause when i woke up this morning the thread was gone.

on this site and talking to people from all over the world, has made me very
confident in my english, and other things i might add. haha ;P "

And then someone made a comment about that online friends sounded pathetic and i had to answer that.

"I think online friends can be as important as friends that you have irl. you can have the same amount of trust and relationship with people that you haven't met, but
when you have talked to people for over a year at least once a week it really
feels like you are friends, and i think you are. especially when you have msn and the coversation can move quickly and even the possibilities of webcams and talking in a videocall. and alot of people that i know irl i keep in touch with through the internet, so why not meet people on the internet and if it's possible then meet in irl. and without the internet i wouldn't know any people outside of sweden, so this has absolutely made my life more interesting."
